Dog Accessories In The UK

I visit England once in a while, and while I'm over there, I like to check out the dog accessories UK style before I return back to America and all of its Beverly Hills Chihuahua fare. Some of the dog fashion and the chihuahua accessories are little different, mostly in terms of PRICE (it's freaking expensive!), but most of it is identical and exactly the same as the small dog accessories you find across the rest of the planet.

Most of the time when you're in the UK with your chihuahua and your other little dogs, you just want to chill out, go see Big Ben, visit West Minister, and shop around London for your own stuff. But it is fun to check out the UK chihuahua boutiques. Some of them have good product, but I've found that the best UK dog boutique is online: the Chihuahua Shop. They carry some of the best dog accessories UK dog owners can get their hands on quickly, as it's based in the England and ships from there as well. Fashion Dog Collars

Perhaps my favorite type of chihuahua collars are the fashion dog collars that you'll see shipping out from the online pet stores, today! They're so stylish and, especially if you own a chihuahua doggie, you can make your pooch into the cutest little fashion diva you've ever seen! They're SO adorable!

If you're a bit of a collector of funky, stylish collars for your dog, you're going to want to check them out!

Puppy Boutique

It's been fun taking a look at all the new puppy boutique stores online lately. Something I'm noticing with a lot of them is that they can't seem to make up their mind about what kind of dog cltohing they want to sell. Do they want to carry the premium dog clothes we all love but can't afford? Or do they want to see discount chihuahua clothes? With most of them, I see they're trying to be a jack of all trades, at least it looks that way to me...

The problem with the Swiss Army knife approach that many of these puppy boutiques are taking is that they're not really serving any one customer in particular. By trying to serve the discount puppy clothes customers AND the luxury puppy clothing people, they're not really hitting the mark with either. Maybe I've just had atypical experiences at these stores, but I don't think so.

Small Dog Supplies

As a chihuahua dog owner, I've been blown away at the amount of small dog supplies I'm seeing on little dogs right now. Everywhere I go, I'm seeing little chihuahuas and yorkies and all of these other toy dog breeds wearing their collar charms and their designer dog collars, and all of these other little dog accessories! It's impressive!

So I've spent a lot of energy over the past week making the small dog supplies section of the Chihuahua Shop even better. We now carry some of the latest supplies for smaller dogs there, including custom dog collars, chihuahua collar charms, and the best small dog clothing you can find, if you own a chihuahua or a similarly-size doggy. Little Pet Clothes for Dogs

As someone who runs the Chihuahua Shop and who sells pet clothes for dogs as his livelihood, I'm in a position where I get to see a lot of dog clothes every day. I see people walking the streets every day with pet fashion for dogs and little, cute chihuahua clothes of all different sorts. 

What I'm seeing right now is a general movement in the pet clothing for dogs world toward the flashy, fashionable pet clothes, away from the more practical outfits you used to see in pet stores just flying off the shelves whenever there was a sale.

I'm seeing this trend not only on the streets, on the backs of both little AND big dogs down here, but in the Chihuahua Shop itself. People are buying the funky fashion dog clothes for their chihuahuas and are leaving the sweaters and the chihuahua jumpers for later on, when it really starts to cool off. Fleece Dog Jackets and Coats

With the cooler months approaching, it might pay to start thinking about the fleece dog jackets and that warmer chihuahua clothing for your little dog. Catholicism and Chihuahua Clothes?

Having grown up in a very Catholic family with little dogs we dressed in , I've often pondered the superficial connection that exists between these two. Some would say this is nonsense, but I see a real connection between people who care enough about their furry little chihuahuas to dress them up, and the Lord's love.

And if you like chihuahuas and you enjoy shopping for chihuahua clothes for them, you can find a great site that speaks to the inner chihuahua clothes shopper of us all, there.

Cheap Chihuahua Clothes

I'm finding it harder to find cheap chihuahua clothes these days. I can find stores like the Dog Dug and a few others online that sell discount chihuahua clothes, and a few others that also sell small dog clothing at wholesale prices if you buy enough at one time. But for the most part, a lot of the cheaper dog clothing I'm seeing in dog stores today is very low quality and not holding together, at least not on my dogs when I make them wear it in the real world, on their walks outside, and when they're not just lazing around inside, on a pillow.

The Chihuahua Shop does have a for sale section for the summer sale clothes, but will still charge a fair price for the quality you're getting, just to cover our own costs. You can buy cheaper chihuahua clothes accessories like the collar charms and chihuahua collars themselves, to dress your dog up with accessories that naturally cost less dinero than a full chihuahua outfit:

NOT Cool: Florida Man Shoots His Wife's Chihuahua

Holy cow, this is insane: the St. Petersburg Times is reporting that a Florida man just shot his wife's chihuahua after he got frustrated with it after one too many bites and he'd had enough of it. As a chihuahua lover, I'm both pissed and mortified. Luckily for the chihuahua killer, he got away with a $5000 slap on the wrist. Unfortunately for little dogs, well... we live in a world were killing animals is largely a no-biggie, legally at least, and you can walk out of jail on the same day you've committed murder, if you've got the cash.

And that sucks.

Pink Dog Collars

I have this chihuahua lover friend who has a bit of an obsession with pink dog collars, and I spill the beans about his pink fashion fetish there, in that new article! Chihuahua Rescue with Chi Fashion

Working at a dog shelter, I've noticed that chihuahua rescue is not exactly the hardest job in the world. The dogs are small, they're easy to handle, and they're super cute and so they attract a lot of interest from potential adopters.

Finding homes for chihuahuas is usually much easier than finding homes for bigger dogs, and I've found that dressing these little dogs up in chihuahua clothes can make the process go even smoother! Hats for Dogs that are smaller

I've been thinking a lot about those cute hats for dogs that you see everywhere in the summer time when you live in a town where virtually everyone owns a chihuahua and they dress them in chihuahua clothes. I've been wanting to bring some to the Chihuahua Shop and this week, I've been happy to try out a few a few caps on my own chihuahua, Namaste, that's like this one here:

Chihuahua Dress

It's always nice when you come across a cool chihuahua dress for your precious little chihuahua doggie, and I'm seeing a lot of chihuahua owners dolling up their little dogs with these chihuahua dresses, lately. Of all the chihuahua clothes you can buy for you little dog, these dresses exemplify the petite, pretty pooch air of your chihuahua, giving her that attitude of "oh, yes, I'm having tea with the Queen at quarter passed one; would you mind getting out of the way for me??" Hehe...
